Known as the awareness month of early diagnosis of childhood cancer, Setembro Dourado promotes many initiatives to show how to prevent, care and treat the disease.
For this edition of Setembro Dourado, Center Norte has partnered with ITACI to contribute to awareness and to collect donations of hair for the production of wigs which will be directed to kids undergoing cancer treatment.
Wanna help? You can donate hair at our collection stands located at Jacques Janine and close to the Drive-Thru. Apart from that, the hair salon Jacques Janine will give the donors a free haircut.
All donations will be directed to Rapunzel Solidária, the NGO in charge of the wigs manufacture.
Requirements for donation:
– Minimum 7.8 inches;
– The hair must be cut, washed and tied with an elastic band inside a plastic bag (do not pack wet hair under any circumstance).
